Brad Pitt's F1 Movie Review | Immersive Racing Action & Hans Zimmer's Epic Score
🎬 F1 Review
F1 THE MOVIE
Plot Summary
Brad Pitt plays a once-promising F1 driver who was forced to retire after a major accident. For the next ten years, he lives a reckless life, gambling and staying away from the sport. One day, he is persuaded by a friend to join APXGP, an F1 team, and makes a comeback as a full-time driver.
As he competes in various Grand Prix races, he gradually regains recognition for his skills and eventually wins on the F1 stage with his team.
Thoughts
I watched this film mainly for its visual and auditory experience rather than the storyline. The immersive racing scenes—filmed on actual F1 circuits—and the sense of speed were truly impressive. Hans Zimmer’s score and Brad Pitt’s strong screen presence also did not disappoint.
I was especially thrilled when Don Toliver’s music suddenly came on, as I’m a fan of his—it was a perfect fit for the film’s stylish tone.
However, the story structure did have some slow moments, and there wasn’t a major twist or lasting emotional impact.
Still, the protagonist’s belief in the value of challenge over material success left a meaningful impression.
⭐ Final Rating
3.5 out of 5 stars
While the visuals, music, and acting were captivating, the storyline was somewhat average. Nonetheless, the film’s message about the value of pursuing one’s challenge made it a compelling watch.
